It’s time to summarize and share the results of the past three months. This week, we’ve got 672 releases and have reached 68,000+ games in total. All of this content is generated by the Megamod creator community – young, talented game industry enthusiasts. And it’s great and loved by players all over the world!
So here are the recent key achievements we are proud of:
Player Engagement on CrazyGames
- We reached 600,000 unique players on CrazyGames (800,000 in total), with our high ratings remaining intact.
- We conducted two major experiments focusing on extended gameplay (180 minutes duration).
- The longer gameplay resulted in new player cohorts: 20% of players now play for 5-10 minutes, and 10% play for over 10 minutes.
Streamer Interaction Hypothesis
- We've developed a new hypothesis about the interaction between players and streamers: Players highly value any interaction from streamers but prefer to interact among themselves. Streamers prefer to control the gameplay and create engaging shows rather than directly interacting with players.
- To support these dynamics, we've created specialized streamer tools, including additional streamer animations, effects that can be applied to players, and boosts that streamers can deploy during streams.
- Recent experiments showed that 86% of players stay with the streamer when special effects are used, whereas streams without these tools see a 50% drop in viewership. We’ll show you these tools soon!
And we have a lot of plans for the next months:
Testing Game Mechanics on Portals
- Our goal is to increase playtime to 1 hour.
Enhancing Streamer Tools
- Increase the number of streamers using Megamod tools on their streams.
- Ensure our tools help maintain player engagement throughout the entire stream.
- Develop new tools to boost the number of online players during streams.
We'll keep you posted on our progress and share more exciting updates soon.
