Game on and on!
As you know Megamod started with a game editor. Creating games has always been the core of our ecosystem—whether it’s for creators, players, or streamers. Today, we’re pulling back the curtain on how we support our creators and ensure the best games make it to players.
Last year, we built an internal game lab system to streamline new content approvals. Every new creator joins a group led by an experienced Megamod art lead—usually a veteran creator who knows the editor inside out and can help with gameplay ideas, mechanics, and best practices. We also automated the submission process through our admin panel. Now, when a game is ready, the creator uploads it with screenshots, a short video preview, a title, and a description—making it easy for us to distribute across gaming platforms.
And now, we’re taking it even further. We’ve added challenges inside this system to motivate creators with extra rewards. Creators complete tasks, earn stars and get bonuses. Every 10 stars = $20. There are permanent tasks as well as limited-time challenges.
Permanent Tasks:
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Get your game selected as Best Game of the Week (once per week)
⭐️⭐️ Make the most games in a week
⭐️ Join five other creators in game video filming (this is used for generating video teasers in multiplayer mode)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stay in the Top-10 Creators for a full month
Limited-Time Challenges:
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Create a world for the Music Festival (until March 10, we’re preparing something really cool)
⭐️ Create a Valentine’s Day game (until February 14)
The current leaderboard is available on the internal game lab page.
Right now, our catalog has over 84,000 games—and counting! With distribution goals and requests from Megamod partners, we can set specific themes and gameplay challenges for creators, bringing incredible fantasy worlds to life.
That’s how it all works behind the scenes!
