Introducing Workforce: The Gig Economy Comes to Megamod

New week, new tools — and this one’s all about scaling creativity!

We’ve just launched Workforce Megamod, a platform that enables anyone in our creator community to pick up quick creative tasks — from building in-game structures to designing custom objects.

While the tool may look simple on the surface, it’s a key step in scaling Megamod as a truly open, decentralized content engine.

Why does this matter? Workforce lets us:
  • Accelerate content production by distributing micro-tasks to a broad base of casual creators.
  • Keep the game world fresh and dynamic by fueling a constant stream of user-generated assets.
  • Incentivize participation with real earnings: Creators are rewarded in credits that can be converted into real-world money (100 credits = $0.10).
  • Lower the entry barrier — most tasks take just 5–10 minutes, so even occasional players can contribute.

This model draws inspiration from gig platforms, but applies it to game development and creative work — one more step toward our long-term vision of a playable creator economy.
