A Brand-New Build for Streamer Events

This week, we’re excited to roll out a brand-new build of Megamod designed to supercharge streamer-led events and bring even more fun and energy into the worlds they host.

Buffs and Effects Are Here!

We’ve added new options to the streamer control panel—now they can reward players with buffs like the crown, microphone, or the iconic red pointer.

Buffs can be granted or revoked instantly, making it easier than ever to highlight top players or crank up the competition in gameplay.

And even more: streamers now have access to a set of wild visual effects they can trigger during events. These include BigFire, ChargeHead, Charging, EnergyTrail, Flamethrower, GroundSlam, LootMarketPulsing, and the ultra-fun Smoke Rainbow.

It’s chaotic, hilarious, and ridiculously fun to watch. We had numerous live tests with streamers—and the reactions have been on fire.

These new features will be especially relevant for events at the intersection of gaming and music—we really feel it. We recently held several discovery calls with music labels, and the idea resonated instantly: Megamod can become a new kind of digital stage for artists—fully branded multiplayer worlds where fans can play, explore, and celebrate music together.

Whether it’s an online music festival, a new album launch, creating a world around a hit single, or celebrating an anniversary release, we see a unique opportunity for fan activations that feel immersive, interactive, and joyful.

If you know any indie labels or artists who might be a fit, we’d love an introduction. Megamod creates a unique, immersive space tailored for young audiences who thrive on gaming, streaming, and music—bringing fan engagement truly next-level.
